    The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus are the first iPhone models since the iPhone 4S that can be opened from the back of the device. iFixit says the display and rear glass panel can be secured with just two screws and one or two connectors, making both components easier to remove and replace.

    The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus models are essentially a sandwich, consisting of a display, a midframe that houses most of the internal components, and a rear glass panel.

    According to internal documents seen by MacRumors, Apple Stores and Apple Authorized Service Providers can replace the midframe by installing a new one on a customer's existing display, rear glass and rear camera, as long as the parts aren't damaged.

   The iPhone 14 allows the individual replacement of the back cover, and there is only one wireless charging cable connected between the back cover and the motherboard.

    Moreover, the specific steps of dismantling are also different from previous iPhones. The iPhone 14 started from the back cover, while before it was disassembled from the screen.

According to the repair quotation on Apple's official website in China, the estimated cost of replacing the iPhone 14 back cover alone is $180, while the iPhone 14 Pro is $500, a huge gap.
